No-Till Society Tee
In 1943, an Ohio agricultural agent named Edward Faulkner published a small book called Plowman's Folly. Its argument was simple and, at the time, heretical: the moldboard plow had been wrong all along. Turning the soil destroyed its structure, killed its biology, and gave farmers a long-running problem disguised as a solution. The book was a quiet bestseller. The movement it started is still working.
This shirt is a badge for that movement — the kind of seal you'd find on an old agricultural society's letterhead. Soil Builder. Living Roots. Established in 1943. The sun, the seedlings, the layered crop residue, the root network below the line, the earthworm doing the actual work — every element is the no-till argument in miniature.
If you keep the soil covered, leave it undisturbed, and trust the biology to do what biology does, this is your founding year.
